One of our fave coffee recipes is something Ray put together for he and Stefano’s Arctic expeditions. We should say, on an average daily basis all of these ingredients probably aren’t necessary but put yourself in a cold endurance adventure, in a tent, preparing for a long day of pushing your body and this is the ticket!! It’s a perfect combo of taste, warmth, and morning calories to get your motor running hot!
Grind those awesome beans, add to dry press (or AeroPress), then fill your press with ‘just before’ boiling water. Stir for 10 seconds, then let stand for 3-5 minutes. Pour a large cup for yourself - and a smaller one for your teammate ;-) , then add 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tsp of honey, and stir till blended. At home we use a small Ninja blender or a small whisk to blend. Sprinkle with salt, and enjoy!!!!
